Just today I was asked if I had made anything lately. And I said I made 2 cakes and received many oooh and wows. The next question was did you take a pictures? Well I hadn’t. But I did make 2 porcelain clay creations that I will be happy to share pictures of . One was a basket that my little daughter loved so much and wouldn’t let me take a close up picture of. (She eventually dropped it, and I spent rest of the day gluing back the flowers and broken leaves). That’s the thing I do not like about home made porcelain clay that the stuff breaks easily! Well I guess it wouldn’t be called porcelain clay if it didn’t break easily.

The next thing I made was a small wall hanging that was very easy and quick to make (coz I had the right tools). I made a basket weave pattern using clay and arranged flowers on it. Now it might look difficult to make such thin strand of clay and then making a braid, or a basket weave but with little practice and patience it turned out to be a cute little piece.

Nowadays we are just making foam flowers. I just finished making a blue chrysanthemum flower. Maybe some time soon I will make a whole bouquet and post pictures.
